He was born in Fargo, ND. He was always interested in art even at the early age. He started taking art classes in 8th grade. 

“Ever since I can remember, I’ve been drawing people. I haven’t really been drawing anything else. My passion is to work with the human figure and the human form,” 

 He is an active member of the Fargo-Moorhead Visual Artists Organization (FMVA) as well as the National Art Education Association (NAEA). When he's not creating art, he enjoys being outdoors, biking, and watching/playing several types of sports—especially golf and basketball.
