The Community, and Fairfax’s deep roots in music, fashion, diversity, and culture, inspire and influence people around the world
Every 4 months, a new emerging artist will be featured on the lower face of the Building.
In recent years, numerous murals have flourished along Fairfax Ave, and I was honored to be asked to contribute my art to the thriving street culture scene. Being a musician myself, I was also excited to with the Lofts @ Cherokee Studios.
The building’s historical roots are epic; the world renowned Cherokee Studios, where the likes of Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Sinatra, and Hendrix, all recorded their music.
My art is a confluence of seemingly opposite things: mixes high art & low art, east meets west, tradition meets pop, ordinary meets extraordinary, etc.
