Anastasiia Danilenko

Anastasiia Danilenko is a Russian-based artist and graphic designer.

But the area of her occupation is painting and such a traditional painting genre as portrait.

Although, it cannot be called traditional in Danilenko's intentions.

"I write images and forms. Color spots and lines. My characters

have their eyes closed. Without looking into a person's eyes, we can see much more" - says the artist.

Her portraits capture herself and her relationship with the world.

Anastasiia Danilenko's portraits are confessional, regardless of the most imprinted image.

Anastasia Danilenko does not give much thought to a person's physical appearance because it is only the outer layer that protects them.

In waist portraits, the figurative load is carried by the gesture and the general position of the body itself.

Anastasiia Danilenko always starts with black, painting over the entire canvas surface with black paint, and writes on it with her favorite range of green and pink colors.

The colors seem saturated on the black underdrawing; the image has a black outline written on it with her favorite range of green and pink colors.

The colors sound saturated on the black underdrawing; the image has a black contour and a rigid structure.

Out of this black nothingness and subconscious Anastasiia, as a sculptor, carves alluring and catchy images full of her frankness.
