JM Art Management is thrilled to anounce an upcoming exhibition hosted at the La Peer hotel, located in the West Hollywood Arts District of Los Angeles.
The exhibition features a diverse range of celebrated international artists, including: Popovy Sisters, John Paul Fauves, DAIN, thrashbird, and Hossam Dirar.
The Russian phenom doll makers, the Popovy Sisters will have their dolls on display for the first time in the US in LA!
Extravagant creations of award-winning art-doll designers, twin sisters Elena and Ekaterina Popovy, they portray emotions, feminine beauty, history and surreal reality.
Costa Rican contemporary artist John Paul Fauves’ work is full of meaning and critique; covered in color and intensity. Both his alias and his style are influenced by Fauvism, but his game of faces, tones and brushstrokes add a vibrant touch of singularity.
Hossam Dirar is an Egyptian contemporary artist based in Cairo, he works with painting, video, sound, and installation art, to delve into questions of cultural identity, gender roles and to discuss socio-economic and political ideas.
DAIN is one of the most influential street/contemporary artists to emerge from New York City in the last decade. DAIN’s distinctive work pay homage to a romanticized past era when women’s fashion was modest and drew attention to their faces instead of their figures.
Thrashbird, is a Los Angles based street artist of unverified identity known for his billboard takeovers, stencils and wheatpastes. His satirical street art and subversive content combine clever humor with social observations to highlight issues including: media obsession, selfie culture and reliance on technology.
Complimentary wine and beer will be served from 7 to 11pm.

Eriel Indigo will be appearing as the first Live Popovy doll and sharing a surprise performance.
Eriel Indigo is recording artist, art director, and creative activist. Indigo utilizes music, audiovisual short films, and immersive performance as a vehicle to promote well-being, productive rebellion, intentional evolution, and healing of the communal consciousness.
The artist and The Popovy Sisters have been in talks about a collaboration between the brands for some time. Earlier this year, their first project came to fruition, Eriel working closely with the team to create a haunting, angelic track for the special edition Gaultier Popovy doll. We are excited to welcome Eriel Indigo to JM Art Managment's new cross-genre event "Arte La Peer" for The Popovy Sisters debut American exhibition.
