Please join us for a special auction of Emerging Artists together with our partner- BNO. This auction includes internationally acclaimed artists such as Popovy Sisters, Hossam Dirar and Laurent Proneur and more.

We all love established artists, but discovering talented emerging artists has its considerable pleasures, too: Being among the first to encounter an exciting new talent; experiencing styles of art we’ve never seen before; being present at the dawn of a potential future Picasso or Kahlo; not to mention the affordability of a new artist. In our continuing efforts to discover, foster, and promote exciting new talent, BNO is excited to present the works of ten extremely talented emerging artists: Ann McFerran, Billy Barkley, Brandon Kusher, Caroline Vis, Christopher Cuseo, WIJ…, Rocky Greco, Mahi Tarek, Popovy Sisters and Hossam Dirar.

Ann McFerran Los Angeles based artist, Ann McFerran, creates paintings with an abiding sense of balance, color, and compositional techniques. Influenced by the creational spontaneity and emotional immediacy of the Abstract Expressionists, her work is characterized by gestural boldness, and chromatic richness that exude vital qualities of energy and dynamism. She works in a range of painting materials, including oil, acrylic, spray paint, ink, molding paste and found items that are collaged but seamlessly integrated onto canvas. Her work is in the collection of celebrities, luxury furniture stores, and mansions across Los Angeles. Billy Barkley Billy Barkley started out as a multi-instrumentalist composer and transitioned into art, pursuing pencil art, digital art, acrylic paintings with knife techniques and brush techniques. He soon became involved with local art galleries and even owned his own for a while. Barkley eventually found himself with international interest from European galleries, and brokers to create opportunities for collectors and art lovers. Brandon Kusher In 2015 and 2016, photographer Brandon had the distinguished honor of having two of his photos selected by the editors of National Geographic as some of their favorite pictures submitted to the magazine. Caroline Vis For the past few years, Caroline Vis has exhibited her Abstract Impressionist work in galleries and auction houses throughout Europe and the United States. It is often compared to the work of Jackson Pollock. Caroline states: “For me, art is like breathing. It makes me feel very serene. It makes me feel alive! It gives me the feeling that I can live my life to the fullest. I love to go deeper and deeper with my art--and deeper in my soul.” Christopher Cuseo Christopher Cuseo is a sculptor, painter, and multimedia artist. Born in 1979 in Riverside, California, Cuseo received a BFA in art, design, and film from UCLA in 2003. He has made a mark as a fine artist, creating large scale allegorical works which have been collected and exhibited across the country as well as internationally. His work can be found in public and private art collections both in the United States and abroad. He currently lives between bases in Los Angeles, New York, and Sydney.

WIJ… integrates all sorts of different styles of art that include modern impressionism, abstract art, pop-art, and contemporary art. He has created numerous commissioned murals, statues, canvases, and even clothing. Rocky Greco Artist Rocky Greco uses scope, scale, and perspective in his large-format oils, creating shadows and depth of tone. From still-lifes and human figures to street scenes and landscapes. Greco studies people and locales to build upon his artistic principle in regeneration of spirit, soul, and place. Mahi Tarek Mahi Tarek is a rebellious, Egyptian visual artist and illustrator. Her captivating works visually highlight the energy and fury of women, with a bit of a fashion and pop culture flair, creating mixed medium pieces, incorporating painting and text using various techniques surrounding the same liberal and colorful works. Tarek's artwork was recently showcased in New York’s Times Square.
